Command Line Folder Sync Tool (glacier-sync.exe)

FastGlacier console folder sync tool allows you to synchronize the contents of a local folder with a remote folder located on Amazon Glacier.

Open the folder where you installed FastGlacier and find glacier-sync.exe.

The usage is shown below:

 glacier-sync.exe account-name local-folder region vault/folder [options]


   account-name - the name you specified when adding an account using gui wizard

   local-folder - path to the directory located on your disk

   region - amazon glacier region code, supported regions are: 

    [region name]                        [region code]

     US East (Northern Virginia)          us-east-1
     US West (Oregon)                     us-west-2
     US West (Northern California)        us-west-1
     EU (Ireland)                         eu-west-1
     Asia Pacific (Tokyo)            ap-northeast-1
     Asia Pacific (Sydney)           ap-southeast-2

   vault/folder - amazon glacier vault name and folder

   [options] - additional sync options, see below:

     ncd        file-changes to include - (n)ew, (c)hanged, (d)eleted

     k          keep old versions of changed files

     h          use hashes to compare files (may slow down the process)

     s          start synchronization without a confirmation prompt 


   glacier-sync my-account c:\projects us-east-1 vault-1/projects nckhs

   glacier-sync my-account d:\photos us-east-1 vault-2/photos ncdh

   glacier-sync my-account e:\videos eu-west-1 vault-3/videos nds

 If spaces appear in the path, enclose it in quotation marks.
 Do not use traling backslash.
